In the book of John, chapter 15vs16, the Lord says “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in my name, He may give to you.”

This is the inspiration and express command of the word of God that the evangelism department of OHCC is standing and operating upon. Further scriptures in Mark 16:15, Matt 28:1820 emphasize the need for every believer to do the work of an evangelist. We cannot but do this great commission because even Apostle Paul admonishes in 2 Tim 4:15 to preach the Word, do the work of an evangelist and fulfil our ministry.

In this department, we do this by going out to the streets, visiting people in their homes and organising various events and outreaches to show them how much God loves them. We also minister to individuals and groups by modelling our lives after our saviour, Jesus Christ.

It is in this light, that we are encouraging every believer to know that evangelism is the responsibility of us all. Please join us to reach out to the world.
